Product Review - Tui Bug Balm

Welcome to our first ever product review. During the next year we will review some of the products that we sell. If you have used any of the products that we have reviewed your are more then welcome to add your comments to the post.

Our first product we will review is the Tui Bug Balm (available in 50g or 100g pots)

Summer time means BBQ's, trips to the beaches, camping, tramping and many more outdoor activities, as we all take advantage of the great weather. But summertime also means sand flies and mozzies and other biting insects! No matter what your outdoor activity is, at some stage during the summer you are going to be bugged by these annoying insects, even if you are just enjoying an evening BBQ at home.

Tui Bug Balme effectively and safely repels sand flies, mosquitoes and other biting insects. Bug Balme is particularly suitable for children - even on bitten areas - with its mild and soothing natural ingredients for the skin. The Vitamin E in Bug Balme  revitalises the appearance of the skin.

Market research by Consumer NZ has shown superior effects of Lemon-Eucalyptus Oil in warding off sand flies and mosquitoes. Tui promptly tested this and were impressed by what they found! They improved the Bug Balm recipe to contain Lemon Eucalyptus Oil instead of Eucalyptus Oil.

We now take the bug balm everywhere during summer. It does a wonderful job of keeping the bugs away and everyone loves the great smell. It has the added bonus of taking the itch away, if the kids do get bitten.

A frequently asked question is, is it safe for very young babies and children? Yes it is, however you should be aware that children can be more sensitive to smell. For very young children and babies, you may choose to dilute Bug Balm by mixing it with Bee Balm or Unscented Massage Balm.

Don't take a chance this summer. Avoid getting bitten. The pots are small enough to carry around or leave in  the car so make sure you stock up now. It also works well on tropical mozzies, so be sure to pack one when you leave the country for tropical destinations in the pacific or around the world.

To purchase visit  Birth Power and give the mozzies the boot!
